Ludyz - General Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These General Terms of Use (GTU) govern the access and use of the Ludyz application, which allows writing and viewing interactive stories for children.

2. Acceptance of the GTU

By accessing the Ludyz application, you unreservedly accept these GTU. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not use the application.

3. Target Audience

The Ludyz application is intended for children from 3 years old, under the responsibility of their parents. There is no age restriction to use the application.

4. Registration and User Account

Users can access some stories without creating an account. Creating an account is necessary to access additional stories and to create their own stories. When registering, users must provide a username, an email address, and a password.

5. Use of the Application

The application is currently free. However, some paid services may later be available in the form of a subscription. The subscription allows access to additional stories and increases the quotas for the story editor (limit of 10 stories per account and 200 MB of data).

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The administrators of Ludyz are responsible for the content accessible to the public. Users are responsible for the stories they share among themselves and which have not been reviewed by the administrators. Administrators may offer certain users to publish their stories. These stories can be published to the public or be subject to compensation. Administrators reserve the right to moderate and delete any user content deemed inappropriate.

7. Privacy and Personal Data

Ludyz collects personal data (username, email, password) and usage data (decisions made during the stories) to provide statistics and features tailored to users. The data is not used for marketing targeting purposes. The application uses cookies only for functional purposes.

8. Commitments and Responsibilities

Ludyz commits to providing a quality service and ensuring the availability of the application, subject to interruptions necessary for maintenance, updates, or technical improvements. Users are responsible for their use of the application and for complying with these GTU. Ludyz declines all responsibility in case of inappropriate use of the application by users.

9. Termination and Account Suspension

A user account may be suspended or terminated in case of inappropriate content (offensive or not suitable for children). In case of suspension, an email explaining the reason will be sent to the user, who may respond to seek reconciliation.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These GTU are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the French courts will have jurisdiction.

11. Modification of the GTU

Ludyz reserves the right to modify these GTU at any time. Users will be informed of the modifications by any appropriate means. By continuing to use the application after the modification of the GTU, the user accepts the new conditions.
